A stylish cool climate Cabernet.
The wine has been matured for 20 months in French oak barriques. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of mint, followed by cassis, cedar and blackcurrant with just a whiff of truffle as an end note. Elegant palate, with no unripe fruit flavours evident. Flavours of blackcurrant, liquorice and light mocha. Fine grained tannins which are persistent, yet balanced. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, plum, cassis and mocha.
