A magnificent example of aged Heathcote Shiraz that’s holding onto its fruit superbly.

Aged in new French oak barrels. Dense inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Potent scents of ripe blackberry, black cherry and liquorice engulf the nostrils with vanillin oak, dark plum, subtle earthy leather and spice notes in hot pursuit. Full in body, the palate boasts tremendous richness and a lavish texture with voluptuous liquorice, blackberry and black cherry fruits reigning supreme over toasty vanillin cedar, earthy fennel, new leather and blackpepper fragments. Exceptional power and concentration. The tannin structure sturdy yet velvety with a very long and intense aftertaste that lingers well after the wine has been swallowed.
