A new wine from the partnership of Chris Ringland and U.S. Importer Dan Phillips of The Grateful Palate.
Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue, showing excellent cling. Top note of vanilla, followed by blackberry juice, violets and liquorice allsorts. A classic ripe Shiraz sniff. On the palate flavours of dark chocolate and spice emerge. The palate length is shorter than expected, lacking the depth and complexity promised by the nose. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate and spice.
