An outstanding example of Barossa Shiraz.
The wine was matured for 18 months in a combination of French and American oak of which 15% was new oak. Opaque black crimson colour with crimson purple hue. Perfumed nose of vanilla, blackberry, spice and liquorice allsorts. The palate flavours are generous with spice and blackberry layered over a background of black pepper and liquorice allsorts. Fine, perfectly balanced tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice allsorts, black pepper and spice.
