2005 Yalumba Christobel's Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

The winemakers at Yalumba continue to produce flavour filled wines at very affordable prices. Very pale waterlike colour. The nose is fresh and quite aromatic with aroma of tropical fruit and spice followed by a gooseberry endnote. The palate reveals flavours of ripe gooseberry, tropical fruit and just a hint of apple. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of apple, gooseberry and tropical fruit. An excellent quaffer.
