2005 Three Brothers Reunion Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

An outstanding result with an emphasis on the wine being made to be compatible with a wide variety of foods. The addition of Semillon into the blend has filled the palate out considerably, and added length and depth.
Brilliant pale straw colour. The nose reveals top notes of cut dry hay, followed by gooseberry, tropical fruit and spice. The palate is where this wine comes into its own, the Semillon kicks in to create a mouthfilling creamy textured quality. Flavours of straw, tropical fruit and ripe gooseberry are enhanced by a twist of lemon on the back palate. Clean finish, with very long aftertaste of spice, straw, tropical fruit and gooseberry.
