Opaque deep dark crimson colour with deep dark brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, leather, earthy cedar and a touch of mint. Full bodied the palate displays good richness with flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate to the fore with a background of earthy leather and spice. Dryish and slightly chewy tannins but balanced with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, leather, earth and spice.
