Very deep black crimson colour with black crimson hue, showing impressive cling to the glass. Lifted nose of violet, followed by cedar, blackcurrant and cassis, showing good varietal character. The palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant, with just a touch of cedar and liquorice allsorts. On the back palate there is cigar box and spice flavours excellent balance with fine dry chalky tannins.
