Translucent purple mauve colour. Lifted nose of cherry, spice and cinnamon oak, followed by some earthy, truffle notes. The palate flavour profile is relatively light, with cherry flavours and spice, followed by a touch of liquorice allsorts. Cherry, plum and spice aftertaste.

First tasted, October 2006: Semi-translucent mauve purple colour with mauve purple hue. Perfumed, freshly crushed strawberry lift followed by violets, spice and cherry. The palate has excellent weight and delivers freshly crushed cherry and spice flavours with just a hint of liquorice. Fine grained tannins. Cherry, spice aftertaste.
