2005 Pikes East Side Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose of cherry, blackberry and vanilla showing good Shiraz aroma. The palate structure is quite tight at this stage but will evolve. Flavours of plum, spice and stewed fruit, showing modest length with a hint of liquorice on the back palate. Aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit.
