Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Top note of vanilla, violet and spice followed by end notes of blackberry and liquorice allsorts. The palate delivers quite pronounced flavours of spice and black pepper, followed by plum. The style is more elegant than 2004 with an aftertaste of plum, liquorice, spice and black pepper.
