Matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque dark crimson red colour with crimson brick red hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, dark chocolate and confectionary. Full bodied with flavours of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and truffle followed by some cedar and spice back palate characters. Slightly dryish tannins but balanced. Aftertaste of spice, cedar and blackcurrant.
