Pertaringa is a partnership between Geoff Hardy and Ian Leask - two of Australia’s top viticulturalists, (Geoff is one of the 5th generation Hardy brothers.) Very deep brick red colour with brick red hue – the colour is holding up well. Perfumed lift with top note of spice, vanilla and plum. The palate delivers flavours of plum, spice, liquorice and cedar with a touch of mocha and dark chocolate on the back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, plum and spice with a touch of black pepper emerging.

First Tasted, January 2007:
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Violet top note followed by cedar, vanilla, spice and liquorice allsorts. Plum, spice and stewed fruit flavours on the palate. Fine grained tannins, with excellent balance. Long aftertaste of plum, spice and stewed fruit.
