Very deep crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Lifted nose with notes of spice, blackberry and liquorice allsorts with an end note of plum. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of plum, spice, liquorice allsorts and vanilla evident. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of vanilla, plum, liquorice and stewed fruit and just a trace of white pepper.
