The colour is impressive, being quite deep for Pinot. Deep crimson colour with deep mauve hue. Lifted nose of ripe cherry followed by a hint of liquorice as an end note. On the palate, flavours of cherry and spice are evident over a light liquorice background. Fine grained tannins. Modest length and depth. Aftertaste of cherry and spice.
