2005 Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Chardonnay

Retasted 28/04/2010:
Brilliant pale straw colour with water like hue. The nose displays a refined aromatic profile of pear, citrus, almonds, cashew and spice. The palate is holding up well with flavours of pear and spice followed by some almonds and cashews on the back palate. Excellent length. Clean dry finish with long aftertaste of pear, spice and almond.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013)

A great value for money dry white from Burgundy. Very pale straw colour with water like hue. Delicate melon top note followed by confectionary and light lees. The palate shows excellent weight and mouthfeel. Creamy texture. Very good length with flavours of confectionary, melon and light spice evident. Clean finish.V Cellar 3-4 years (2011-2012)
