Produced from grapes grown at Rowland Flat from 9 year old vines. Opaque black brick red colour with brick red hue, showing good cling to the glass, but advanced for a 2005 red. Top note of dark chocolate, liquorice and vanilla with spicy end note. On the palate flavours of plum, spice, vanilla and liquorice emerge. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum and spice.
