2005 Les Piliers de Maison Blanche

A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Near opaque deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Refined aromas of cedar, ripe mulberry and spice followed by a leather end note. Medium bodied and elegantly structured the palate displays flavours of mulberry, cedar and earth followed by some leather and spice on the back palate. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, mulberry and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
