2005 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon

A late release from one of Margaret River's most acclaimed Cabernet vintages.
Very deep dark crimson red black colour with deep dark red hue. The nose is very perfumed with violet and mulberry top notes followed by blackcurrant, spicy cedar and cigar box end notes. A very refined sniff. Medium weight the palate combines an elegant structure with richness displaying flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry and spice with a cedar overlay and a hint of cigar box on the back palate. Excellent length. Very fine grained perfectly integrated and balanced tannin structure with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years (2010-2016).
