2005 Jacob's Creek Centenary Hill Shiraz

Deep crimson brick red colour with brick red mauve hue. Aromas of mocha, vanilla, liquorice allsorts and confectionary – a perfumed sniff. The palate is full bodied with flavours of dark plum, mocha, liquorice allsorts and confectionary with some spice back palate notes. A velvet smooth tannin structure provides the wine with a silky texture. Long aftertaste of mocha, vanilla and liquorice allsorts. A very well made Centenary Hill but without the concentration and power of past classics such as the 1995, 1996 and 2002
