An old fashioned Hunter Red, with even evidence of ‘sweaty saddle’. Brilliant crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. The nose delivers a top note of vanilla, followed by plum, spice, truffle and earth – with classic Hunter ‘sweaty saddle’ end note. On the palate flavours of leather, earth, truffle and blackberry are evident and supported by fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum and spice which are quite persistent.
