Distilled in May 2005 and left to mature in a single refill hogshead for 14 years until August 2019, this middle-aged Tobermory was bottled as part of Douglas Laing's Old Particular series. The outturn was 300 bottles.
Notes from the bottlers... Big, round and feisty. Aromatic and characterful with a nuttiness and sweet malt. Subtle and sugary, showing its barley heritage... sweetly inclined, running seamlessly to a gently spiced crescendo.
48.4% ABV. Non chill filtered.
