Produced from 1940’s low yielding, Grenache bush vines. Medium body, deep crimson mauve purple colour. Earthy top note followed by notes of raspberry, liquorice and just a hint of leather. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel. There is a hint of sour cherry flavour over a ripe raspberry back palate. Fine dryish tannins. Excellent balance. Aftertaste of cherry and raspberry.
