A very tight red with spectacular colour that needs quite a few years to soften. Made from a blend of 36% Malbec, 32% Merlot and 32% Petit Verdot.
Vibrant purple black colour with purple black hue, showing excellent cling. Top note of liquorice, followed by plum, spice and violets. The fruit on the palate takes a back seat for the moment. The tannins are dry and very persistent. Long and quite dry. Light plum and mulberry flavours surface, however, the tannins remain pushing the fruit into a submissive role.
