Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Delicate nose with strawberry and spice, with a hint of plum and an unusual hint of tea leaf. The palate flavours are short, with some stalky qualities evident followed by cherry, plum and stewed fruit. Fine, dry tannins. Cherry, plum aftertaste. The wine lacks varietal character.
