This wine is made from vines planted in 1850 and has been matured in French and American oak.
Very deep crimson brick red colour with flavours of raspberry, followed by spice, liquorice, cedar and vanilla. The palate is very spicy, with flavours of raspberry and leather with liquorice on the back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of leather, spice and raspberry jam.
