Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose is youthful, lifted top notes of violets, blackberry and spice followed by liquorice allsorts. On the palate, flavours of liquorice and spice are supported by a black pepper back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum, spice, liquorice and mocha.
