2005 Chateau Lagrezette Cru D'Exception Malbec

Outstanding super saturated opaque black purple colour with black heart and very deep black purple hue showing excellent glass cling. The nose displays aromas of black cherry and blackberry followed by a hint of liquorice and spice. The palate is tighter, firmer and drier than the 2003 but still possesses generous fruit. Flavours of black cherry, ink and blackberry followed by some spicy leather are all held in check by the firm dry tannin structure. Aftertaste of black cherry and spicy leather.
