Cape Mentelle are one of the founding wineries of the Margaret River district. Today the wines are made by Robert Mann, grandson of the legendary Jack Mann who was responsible for the development of one of Australia's most accessible wines - Houghtons White Burgundy. Bright straw colour with pale straw. Top note of yeast lees, followed by biscuit, hazelnut and honey. Creamy full bodied palate, with flavours of hazelnut, yeast lees and cashew over a clean citrus backbone. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of hazelnut, biscuit and yeast lees.
