This wine was matured for 15 months in a combination of new (50%) and 1-2 year old French and American barriques.
Opaque dark red black colour with dark crimson red hue. Lifted, very ripe aromas of super ripe plum, liquorice allsorts, blackberry and dark chocolate. Voluptuous full bodied palate flavours of super ripe plum, blackberry, liquorice allsorts and spice with a touch of earth also making an appearance. Velvet smooth tannins provide the wine with an opulent mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of dark chocolate, liquorice allsorts and spice. A very ripe & voluptuously textured Brothers in Arms Shiraz.
