2005 Boundary Rider Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc

Winemaker, Peter Flewellyn continues to enhance his reputation with yet another outstanding set of wines. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of blackcurrant, raspberry and spice followed by a liquorice end note. There is no sense of greenness in this wine which is a remarkable achievement given the price point and a signal to much more expensive Cabernet wines that ripeness can be achieved at any price point. Flavours of blackcurrant and spice with a hint of chocolate emerge followed by a white pepper and spice aftertaste.
