This Chardonnay is Estate grown and cropped at 1 tonne per acre. Brilliant brassy gold colour with pale gold hue, showing bottle development. Top note of hazelnut, followed by honeycomb, yeast lees, biscuit and just a hint of nougat. The nose is sophisticated and that sophistication is carried through to the palate. Full bodied palate with layers of lemon, hazelnut, yeast lees and nougat – an explosive flavour profile with a honeycomb back palate. Clean acid finish.
