2004 Zilzie Estate Selection 23 Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with waterlike hue.  Aroma of peach, melon and spice, followed by a tropical fruit and green tea endnote.  The palate flavour profile is light, with nuances of tropical fruit and lemon appearing.  Soft acid finish.  A Quaffer.

First tasted, May 2005:
Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Aroma of peach, yeast lees and topical fruit. The palate flavours are light with some citrus emerging over a spice and yeast lees background. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of lemon and spice.
