2004 Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz

Outstanding opaque black purple colour with purple hue, with excellent cling to the walls of the glass. Superb nose of plum, spice, liquorice allsorts and vanilla. The palate is a touch more restrained than the big ‘joosy’ styles that have become the benchmark from McLaren Vale in recent years. Flavours of white and black pepper are overlaid with vanilla and plum. Fine grained tannins. Excellent balance. Long aftertaste of black pepper, spice and plum.
