2004 Two Hands Harry and Edward's Garden Shiraz

Drinking beautifully now this wine was matured for a period of 14 months in 20% new French oak, and 10% 1 year old French oak with the balance being in 3 and 4 year old French and American oak.

Totally opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose shows good intensity with liquorice top notes followed by some dark plum, vanillin oak, a hint of leather and spice. Rich, fleshy and opulent the palate possesses mouthfilling flavours of liquorice and black plum followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and a spicy back palate. Excellent power with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, black plum, a hint of leather and spicy oak.
