2004 Tin Shed Melting Pot Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson colour with dark purple hue. Violet top note, followed by perfumed ripe blackberry and liquorice. Mouthfilling palate. Flavours of liquorice, blackberry and white pepper, supported by fine dry, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of white pepper, spice, vanilla and blackberry.

First Tasted, November 2005:Totally opaque black purple colour with purple hue. Lifted nose of blackberry, spice, plum and black pepper. The palate has plenty of flavour – white pepper, black pepper and plum. The structure is relatively tight. Dry chalky tannins. Very long black pepper, ripe plum aftertaste with dry tannins persisting.
