2004 Tallarook Chardonnay

Retasted: Made using a wild yeast ferment. Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. The nose displays some barrel ferment character, with notes of hazelnut, cashew and yeast lees. Creamy palate texture. Flavours of hazelnut, cashew, biscuit, yeast lees and citrus. Very good length. Aftertaste of biscuit, yeast lees and citrus.

First Tasted, 5/07/2006: Brilliant straw colour and green tinge, pale water like hue. Aroma of yeast lees, cashew and biscuit, with a hint of butterscotch. Moderate palate length. Flavours of melon, fig and cashew. Creamy texture. Soft acid finish.
