A superbly layered Shiraz.
Totally opaque – a saturate of colour – revealing black mauve purple hues that stick to the glass wall like paint. Lifted nose – perfumed with violet top notes followed by confectionary, spice, liquorice and blackberry. The tannin structure is velvet smooth, supporting flavours of liquorice allsorts and confectionary overlaid with spice and white pepper in the background. Aftertaste of plum, spice, blackberry and violets.
