Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice, vanilla and liquorice allsorts, showing good varietal character. Elegant but mouthfilling palate structure. Flavours of stewed plum and blackberry are followed by ripe plum. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of white pepper, plum and vanilla. An excellent, refined style.
