Santa Rita is regarded as one of Chile’s most admired and innovative wine estates. The fruit is sourced from Alto Jahuel, located in Chile’s Maipo Valley. The climate is semi-arid Mediterranean, with an annual rainfall of 400mm, mainly in winter. There is considerable temperature difference between day and night, which allows the vine to produce added concentration of flavours. The soils are alluvial with gentle slopes of medium depth.

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Toasted oak, blackcurrant, spice and cedar nose, showing distinctive ripe Cabernet fruit. On the palate flavours of cedar, spice, blackcurrant and cigar box. Excellent length. Fine dry tannins. There is a hint of mint on the back palate. Long aftertaste of cedar, cigar box and blackcurrant.
Cellar 5-8 years (2012-2015)
