Very deep almost opaque crimson colour with some brick red emerging. Top note of cedar, followed by cigar box, violet and cassis showing developed Cabernet characteristics. The palate fruit is beginning to fade and becoming a touch tight, however it is still discernable. Cedar, cassis and spice flavours are evident. Dry balanced tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, cassis and spice.
