The blend is composed of 60% Shiraz and 40% Grenache. Almost opaque black purple colour with mauve hue. Aroma of blackberry and spice followed by black pepper, liquorice and raspberry. The palate has that special ripe ‘joosy’ quality that is the hallmark of red wines from these districts. Flavours of plum and spice over a raspberry back palate. Fine grained tannins. Plum, spice aftertaste.
