This wine has been bottled for Colin and Maggie Beer who established the well known Pheasant Farm in 1973. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of liquorice and spice, followed by ripe plum. On the palate flavours of plum, spice and prunes – good weight, with spicy back palate. Fine dry, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum and vanilla.
