Very deep crimson colour with mauve purple hue. Violet top note, followed by spice, cherry and cassis, followed by a hint of vanilla. On the palate flavours of liquorice blackcurrant and spice. Fine dry tannins, chalky and quite persistent. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant and liquorice.
