An outstanding Merlot, which delivers a surprising degree of power. Opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. Superb, refined nose with mulberry, cherry, liquorice and spice notes emerging. The palate has that typical McLaren Vale ‘joosy’ quality, with flavours of spice, liquorice, mulberry and black cherry. Perfect balance, with velvet smooth tannins. Very long aftertaste of spice, black cherry and mulberry, which hangs in a very persistent manner.
