A typical Nicholson River Chardonnay, however not as voluptuous as the 2003 vintage. Winemaker Ken Eckersley has his own distinctive style which always delivers a full bodied, mouthfilling flavour experience. Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. Complex nose revealing notes of yeast lees, biscuit, cashew and hazelnut, displaying excellent barrel ferment characters. The palate is creamy in texture with flavours of yeast lees over honeycomb, citrus, hazelnut and cashew. Excellent weight. Soft acid finish. Honeycomb, citrus, biscuit and yeast lees aftertaste.
