An impressive red – yet another one, demonstrating the sheer strength of the 2004 Vintage across all Australian wine districts. Very deep black purple colour with deep black purple hue. Lifted nose of confectionary, liquorice allsorts, spice and vanilla. The palate delivers excellent weight and generous mouthfeel. Flavours of chocolate, black pepper, plum and spice are overlaid with a touch of vanilla. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Very long aftertaste of spice, vanilla and plum.
