A relatively tight Merlot that will continue to evolve. Almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose of spice, mulberry and violets with truffle end notes, delivering an impressive varietal lift. Flavours of mulberry and liquorice allsorts are followed by spice and dark cherries with cedar and truffle emerging on the back palate. Fine grained tannins. Mulberry, cedar and spice aftertaste.
