Very deep black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose has a strong varietal lift with top note of plum, followed by blackberry, cedar, spice and vanilla. On the palate, flavours of liquorice and black pepper with fine, dryish, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry and black pepper and a hint of truffle.
