Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black purple hue. The nose shows good varietal character with top note of spice, black pepper and vanilla evident. Good palate weight, with flavours of spice, liquorice, clove and just a hint of cinnamon. Aftertaste of vanilla and black pepper.
